not much going on, I'm trying to catch up on so many years of lost practice, regarding human faces and stuff in general. College stuff moving along, need to work on my portfolio.
oh--went as Matt from Death Note this Halloween. finally. it wasn't a very accurate costume but I think it turned out okay--I carried around my old Gameboy Color and everything. no photos though. D:

Alright, so I'm prolly not gonna be on much until college stuff is out of the way--I mean for real now, I'm not wasting any more time here unless it's to look up tutorials. I'm not gonna waste words on deadlines, but rest assured that I plan to catch up on commissions, trades, and other owed stuff before next fall. If you think there might be the slightest chance that I forgot something or just lost it amidst my notes, feel free to drop me a reminder.

um, and i guess this is the end of me drawing dogs? :< not really, but I definitely want to focus on making characters as people and not improbable canines. I've got Raw and Hivy down pretty well--Rue needs another revamp (omg, happy birthday Rue-wa! <3 Nov 10th, sorry I couldn't bake a cupcake or something--you get a revamp instead. how bogus of me. :c), and Iggy is a total blank. But they're coming along. It's weird to think that of the perhaps dozens of characters I've made up to now, only these four come out alive. oxo;

it's a bit like when you've got something so, I dunno, so vain and cruel, and over-whelming in its power and dominance--that it becomes suffocating and collapses from its own success.

But here I go being descriptive and silly, it's nice being nobody in particular and not having to, like, actively reign over whatever I create. Of course I'll have to take up the administrative work--I'm learning that with managing Rue's character!--but that's small pertaters.

I might get around to submitted my other works. Don't except any more digital art until I get around to what I owe. HOWEVER, I'll still be submitted holiday foxes for you snarky snarkfaces, despite the persistent fact that only about 50% of the adopters actually end up drawing their fox for me to see.

...prolly about 25% of those who don't submit note me about their circumstances, which is totally fine. but, really? I'm so over badgering the rest of the adopters. Foxes will be submitted and adopted out as always, but now I'll just have people listed as confirmed or not. -shrug- I dunno what I'll do about the rest. If anyone wants to start a riot for me, uh, be my guest? o.o;
[the main reason I even started this was as just for an update: the next batch will be mostly halloweeny and there will be another bubble tea set. whoo! <3]

ooooh and i see x-mas lists going around! I shan't put one up [I reeeally don't feel I deserve anything] but I hope to be sending at least a few packages this winter. <3 I know i still have a couple of takeout boxes full of paper stars to send out.


[christ, if a simple series of updates can turn into a journal this long my college essays should be a breeze. Now I just need a sense of wit and sarcasm that doesn't come across as insulting--oops!]
